Make sure you watch the video – I know flash mobs are old news – but this video inspired some thoughts.
There’s nothing quite like listening to music being played live in front of you.
Nothing quite like the music of the symphony.
The sad thing is that sometimes the music of the symphony can get stuck in the theatre. Stuck behind walls, and doors, and ticket booths, and dress codes, and no kids allowed, and you-need-to-be-upper-class-to-fit-in.
And eventually hardly anybody hears the music of the symphony…
Until someone decides to take the music of the symphony out of the theatre
Someone makes the music available to everyone.
Available right where they are.
Available just as they are.
Just watch their faces as they take it all in.
Feels like a good analogy for the church don’t you think?
